ANU(Australia National University) Medal has an extremely hellogh prestige that only a tiny minority of excellent graduates of the year could be awarded. The number of the medal winners is usually no more than 10 every year. Students to receive this honor have to get a first-class honor and have made outstanding academic achievements among the graduates of the same year. After Hu Yeqing and Guo Jing, who were both students of dual degree of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and ANU, have won the honor, Huang  Weiyu, who graduated in November, 2011, won the great honor again.

Huang Weiyu, a grade-2008 student majors in Information Project at BIT, joined in ANU Project in 2010. He was also the first student who joined in this research and development project.
Since BIT and ANU have conducted the dual degree cooperation project in 2007, students who participated in the program have become models of studying hard and getting excellent grades. They have established an optimistic international image for BIT. Hope students who take part in the international (oversea) exchange program could perform their best in those top universities around the world and achieved more and greater outstanding academic achievements.
