  In order to accelerate the construction of world-class university and first-rate subjects, from November 12 to 13, 2018, the International Evaluation on Computer Science and Technology Program was carried out in BIT smoothly. Seven of the world's leading scholars in computer science and technology were Invited to join the expert group for this assessment. They are Professor Bakhadyr Khoussainov (Member of the Royal Society of New Zealand, Hood Scholar) from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, Professor Fuji Ren from the University of Tokushima, Japan (Fellow of the Engineering Academy of Japan), and Professor Paul Cohen (Dean of the School of Computer and Information) at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, Professor Anuj Dawar of the University of Cambridge, Professor Ulises Cortés of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Professor Yoichi Sato of the University of Tokyo, Japan, and Professor Yu Wang of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, led by Professor Bakhadyr Khoussainov.

  On the morning of November 12, 2018, the ceremony of the International Evaluation on Computer Science and Technology Program and Subject Report Meeting was held at the First Meeting Room, in the International Education Exchange Building of BIT. Bao Liying, deputy secretary of the party committee of BIT, and principals from the School of Computer Science and Technology, the Graduate School, the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, and the Office of Human Resources, the International Office, the Academy of Science and Technology and the Planning and Finance Department Discipline Development Office attended the meeting. The ceremony was hosted by the leader of the expert group, professor Bakhadyr Khoussainov.
