Microsoft’s Senior Vice President Gives Lectures at BIT

On May 19, 2005, Mr. Bob Muglia, the senior vice president of the Windows Server Division of Microsoft gave a lecture with the topic of “Ten years vision for Windows server” at the reporting hall of BIT library. More than 200 teachers and students from the School of Information Science & Technology came to the lecture.  

During his lecture, Mr. Muglia presented to the audience a broad prospect of the Windows server in the information age from many angels. He also introduced the advantages of the latest 64-digit PC compared to the previous 64-digit PC. The Audience showed great interest to Mr. Bob Muglia’s introduction and put forward many questions after his speech.

This lecture was followed to Microsoft Vice President Dr. Li Kaifu’s lecture with topic of “Science & Technology, Education and Talents” on April 20, both being part of the academic forum held by School of Information Science & Technology.
