Two Pakistani students of BIT participate in the 1st International Youth Congress

  Recently, the first International Youth Congress and "One belt, one road(OBOR)" youth development forum was held in Shenzhen. The congress was a worldwide high-level youth exchange event organized by Shenzhen Talent Office, Shenzhen Youth Federation, and Shenzhen Youth Entrepreneurship Association. The congress is based on the theme of "Opening, Innovation, Development and Future". Doctoral students, international makers from the United States, France, the United Kingdom and other 64 countries around the world, whose schools are Cambridge University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University and other 40 world-renowned universities, also more than 300 outstanding representatives of various fields attended the meeting.

  Murtaza Ghulam and Rizwan Ullah Khan, Pakistani doctoral students instructed by Professor Qu Feng from School of Life Science of Beijing Institute of Technology(BIT), attended the meeting as special guests. They participated in the OBOR youth forum, "Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area" economic development forum, young talent and Shenzhen development salon and other activities. They also visited the Southern University of Science and Technology, Tencent, the national gene pool and other famous universities and well-known enterprises. In the event, they combined with their own studying experience to actively participate in interactive exchanges. They also made recommendations combined with Pakistan's national conditions and the development of disciplines of Pakistani universities, which impressed the organizers and delegates, showing the good features of BIT foreign students.




  Murtaza Ghulam and Rizwan Ullah Khan also received the "International Friends of Pengcheng " certificate awarded by Shenzhen City, and were hoped to in-depth understand and propagate Shenzhen as friends of Shenzhen City.
