Notice of APEC Holiday Arrangement

Dear Colleagues:

    According to Notification of 2014 APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Holiday Arrangement  published by Beijing municipal government, the school holiday lasts for 6 days, from November 7th to November 12th. You have to work on November 2nd (Sunday) and 15th (Saturday) to balance off the break. Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Graduate School should arrange holiday accordingly.

    During the holiday, every department must strengthen security and secrecy work, ensure the fireproof and burglarproof work. Various rules and regulation relating to duty system shall be implemented strictly in important departments. The logistics department must maintain the infrastructure. If emergency happens, follow emergency procedures and report immediately.

Notice of Academic Affairs Arrangement during APEC

    According to Notification of APEC Holiday Arrangement published by Office of President, there are several adjustments for undergraduates’ courses. The school will be off from November 7th to November 12th. All teaching activities on November 7th (Friday) will be adjusted to November 2nd (Sunday) and original teaching arrangements on 2nd will be canceled. All teaching activities on November 12th (Wednesday) will be adjusted to November 15th (Saturday) and original teaching arrangements on 15th will be canceled as well. Adjustments involve teaching activities of all kinds, from course arrangements, classroom booking to examination.

    Dear colleagues from each teaching unit, please inform teachers as well as students and arrange teaching activities in time.
