Join the undergraduate programs in English

The following undergraduate programs conducted in English are available to international students at BIT. English speaking students from all over the world are welcomed to join these programs.
I. Qualifications
· High school graduation or equivalent to a Chinese high school graduate;
· Good command of mathematics
· Efficient English language skills (TOEFL 550 or IELTS 5.5)
· Under age 35
Note: Native English speakers or graduates from high schools where English is an official teaching language are exempt from TOEFL and IELTS scores.
II. Application period
Apply online before July 15, 2013.
III. Required materials
Submit the following materials together with your printed application form:
□ Photocopy of Passport
□ Copy of diploma or certificate of the last school you have attended.
□ High school academic transcript. If you have also attended any secondary or post-secondary schools, please send us the transcripts of the schools that you have attended.

□ Evidence of English language proficiency.Native English speakers or graduates from high schools where English is an official teaching language are exempt from TOEFL and IELTS scores.
If you don
t have any TOEFL or IELTS scores, please submit a statement of purpose composed in English.

□ Evidence of financial support. You can either fill the Financial Sponsorship Form(click to download) or provide a bank deposit certificate. The minimum amount should be 80,000 RMB (equivalent to 13000 USD) .
□ Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (printed by Chinese quarantine authority). The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. 
Applicants with age under 18 are required to have a guardian in China. Guardianship certificates must be submitted
Note: Documents in language other than Chinese or English need to be translated in to Chinese or English.

Future employers could be an industrial enterprise (involved in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering), an engineering consultancy or marketing office, a public administrative body or a research institute. Automation engineers are employed in all of the following sectors: manufacturing, services, and management.

4. Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology
    (Computer Science (CS) and Internet of Things (IoT)

Educational Objectives: The program consists of two streams of study, Computer Science (CS) and Internet of Things (IoT), to follow. Both streams enable students to develop both practical and theoretical skills in the areas of information and computer systems, with CS focusing on classical computational issues and IoT on the integrations of and interaction between computation and physical world. Program Outcomes:   The graduates of mechanical engineering program will have the ability to apply their knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to develop mechanical systems to meet desired needs within economic, environment, social, political, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability constraints.
