Electrostatics and Discharge plasmas

  This subject supports the Research Centre for Electrostatics and its applications of BIT. Two main topics are included. The first is Electrostatics which deals with the charging and discharging mechanism of objects, electrostatic protection of hazardous goods, target detection based on electrostatics and other electrostatic technologies for environment, ionic wind and biology etc. The second is Discharge plasma which deals with the advanced plasma sources, interaction between plasma and electromagnetic wave, plasma thruster, plasma stealth, material preparation and treatment, biomedical technology and plasma light sources.
