Student delegation of University of Central Lancashire visits School of Information and Electronics

  

  On the morning of May 15, 2017, a delegation of 5 students from University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) visited the School of Information and Electronics (referred to as the School) of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). The relevant personnel of the Office of International Affairs and the School of Information and Electronics introduced the situation of BIT as well as the School to the delegation, and communicated with the members of the delegation.

  

  

  In the meeting, the sub-dean of the School of Information and Electronics Si Liming introduced the major setting of the School, the undergraduate exchange programs between the School and UCLan, and the cooperative education programs. The commissioner of the Office of International Affairs Meng Yuhuan introduced the history of BIT, talents cultivation, scientific research, and the situation of the communication among BIT and universities overseas. In addition, Professor Liu Jiakang of the School of Information and Electronics gave an introduction about the students at the meeting and the purposes of the meeting.

  

  

  

  The student delegates of BIT shared about studying and living on campus with the delegation of UCLan. The student delegates are Zhang Jingqi of 2013 from the English-teaching class of the School, Tang Xianwen of 2015 from the English-teaching class of the School, and Zhang Zongshuo of 2016 from the Chinese-English class of electronics co-cultivated by the School and UCLan.

  

  

  The attendees of the meeting includes Si Liming, sub-dean of the School of Information and Electronics, Meng Yuhuan of the Office of International Affairs, Liu Jiakang, professor in charge of the co-cultivation programs of the School of Information and Electronics, Zou Xiaona of the School of Information and Electronics, delegates from the School of Information and Electronics, and students from the Chinese-English class of electronics.
