School of Humanities and Social Sciences

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences was established in 1999 and offers a wide range of disciplines including education, economics, philosophy, science, literature, law, and linguistics. 

The school currently has 114 faculty members, including renowned professors and members of the Ministry of Education Teaching Steering Committee.

The school places a strong emphasis on international exchanges and collaboration. It has established partnerships with more than 50 prestigious foreign universities, including the University of Cambridge in the UK and the Australian National University.

The school offers various undergraduate and graduate programs, including a doctoral program in education and master's programs in education and theoretical economics.

Faculties at the school have received numerous awards and accolades for their teaching and research. They have secured over 40 research projects, including major funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Social Science Foundation. The school has also established research centers focusing on such areas as applied psychology and social responsibility.

The school is committed to nurturing top talents and has a strong track record of producing outstanding graduates. It has a high employment rate for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, with over 60 percent of students pursuing further education.

The school also encourages academic and innovation practices, with students publishing an average of over 100 papers per year and winning national competitions in academic and technological works.

In addition to academic excellence, the school also organizes various student activities to enrich campus life, including chorus competitions, volunteer services, and photography competitions.
