The International Education Forum on Key Qualities of Adolescents in the Era of Artificial Intelligence kicks off at Beijing Institute of Technology.
The International Education Forum on Key Qualities of Adolescents in the Era of Artificial Intelligence opened at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) on Aug 26.
This forum brought together over 60 primary and secondary school principals from China, Malaysia, Mongolia, Indonesia, Thailand, and South Africa to explore the cultivation of core competencies for adolescents in the AI era.
Featuring three keynote speeches on the development of AI education, the forum focused on the challenges and opportunities brought about by the development of artificial intelligence technology on educational concepts and the updating of educational methods. The participants pointed out the necessaries of enhancing adolescents' ability to adapt to an intelligent society.
There was also a signing ceremony for the "Study in BIT" program. Representatives from nine secondary schools and institutions, including Chung Hua Middle School No. 1 in Kuching, Malaysia, Smart International School in Mongolia, Pornpikul Pittaya School and the Foundation of African Chinese Culture, signed agreements with BIT’s International Student Center. The cooperation will further promote exchanges between BIT and the international education community, providing more outstanding young people with opportunities and platforms to further their studies abroad.

The forum has provided a platform for education professionals from the countries involved to promote mutual learning and collective improvement in advancing new developments in AI education. BIT will continue to dedicate itself to serving the needs of national and social development, further enhancing international exchanges and cooperation, as well as nurturing more outstanding innovative talents.
