Beijing Institute of Technology

This year marks the 84th anniversary of the establishment of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). The celebration event of the 84th anniversary was held on Sept 21 at its Zhongguancun Campus in Beijing.

BIT President Jiang Lan, Zhao Changlu, secretary of the CPC Beihang University Committee, and former and current school leaders, as well as faculty and representatives, attended the event.

Jiang said that over the past 84 years, generations of BIT alumni have embodied the spirit of the university and composed a brilliant chapter for the era.

Jiang noted that, in 2023, BIT won 13 national teaching achievement awards, including 3 first prizes, while, this year, it has been presented with 6 national science and technology awards. BIT is actively participating in the construction of world-class universities.

Going forward, BIT is expected to promote deep cooperation with its alumni, contributing wisdom and strength to the development of society.
