The 2024 Fall International Cultural Festival of Beijing Institute of Technology kicks off at Liangxiang Campus in Beijing.

The 2024 Fall International Cultural Festival of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) kicked off at Liangxiang Campus in Beijing on Oct 12.

More than 8,000 Chinese and foreign teachers and students from over 100 countries gathered at the event to enjoy a cultural feast.

This festival, with the theme "Charming BIT, Global Talents", presented splendid and diverse country-themed performances, ranging from the mellifluous tunes of the East to the passionate beats of the West, from the fervor of Africa to the exuberance of South America. It was a global journey of song and dance, guiding the audience through different cultures and allowing them to experience the vastness and vibrancy of the world.

The festival also set up 52 exhibition booths. Students from over 60 countries, dressed in their traditional attire, shared stories of their homes and presented their distinctive cultures.

BIT's International Cultural Festival has been held annually since 2017. The grand event provides not only a platform for Chinese and international students to present their respective cultures and deepen mutual understanding, but also demonstrates the significant achievements of BIT in international education, reflecting the university's open and inclusive campus culture.
