"University Art Charm" New Year's Concert held at Beijing Institute of Technology
The China Philharmonic Orchestra gave a special performance, the "University Art Charm" New Year's Concert for 2025, at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT)'s Liangxiang Campus on Dec 17.
The concert drew an audience of over 1,000, including officials from the National Radio and Television Administration, representatives of the orchestra, and BIT leaders, faculty and student representatives.

Classical symphonic work's such as Swan Lake, Hungarian Dances, Carmen, and The Blue Danube were performed, with lively notes conveying the joy of the New Year.
The musicians gave superb performances of nearly 20 classic pieces from Chinese and foreign repertoires.
In recent years, BIT has continuously strengthened and improved aesthetic education, organizing the "University Art Charm" events -- a series of cultural performances at the university. It has invited many high-level performers to its campus, providing a high-level cultural and artistic platform for teachers and students to observe and appreciate.
The China Philharmonic Orchestra is the first Chinese symphony orchestra to work with top international record companies on international record album releases. It is also the first Chinese orchestra to engage in large overseas and world tours, as well as the first to undertake diplomatic missions and embark on groundbreaking international journeys. Additionally, it is the first Chinese orchestra to grace the stage of top-tier global summer music festivals, making a significant contribution to contemporary Chinese music history.
