BIT team wins special award at HRU contest

The Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) team won the special award at the recent final of the 9th Competition of Human Resource Innovation and Practice for University Students in China (HRU) in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei province. It was the fifth time that BIT had won the special award in the competition.

A total of 10 BIT undergraduate students from Teli College and Mingde College were selected to participate in the competition.

Guiding lecturers developed personalized training plans and targeted enhancement programs for the competing team members, providing them with opportunities for open course learning. They systematically explained and organized professional knowledge for the competing team members, helping students build knowledge frameworks, improve knowledge structures, and enhance professional literacy, teamwork and leadership skills.

After three days of intense competition, BIT won the "Group Special Award", while eight team members also received "Individual Special Prizes".

In its ninth edition, the HRU is a top-tier event in the field of human resource management and related professions in China.

This year, the HRU contained seven contest categories, including leaderless group discussion, practical design, digital HR practice, workplace practical skills, case analysis, labor dispute resolution, and HR-English.
