Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) held a graduation ceremony on Jan 3 for the over 140 non-degree international students of the autumn semester of 2024.

Liu Weiguang, deputy director of the International Student Center at BIT, extended congratulations to all the students who successfully completed their Chinese language studies. He encouraged the international students to build bridges connecting China and the world in their future studies and lives, contributing to promoting global cultural exchange and cooperation.
In addition to issuing certificates to the students, BIT also organized cultural experience activities for the students, such as paper cutting and calligraphy. The vivid animals and auspicious patterns in each artwork evoked the rich atmosphere of traditional Chinese culture, leaving everyone in awe.

The graduation ceremony not only honored the academic achievements of the students but was also a feast of cultural exchange and friendship. Through a variety of activities, international students have deepened their understanding of and love for Chinese culture.
The International Student Center will continue to focus on cultivating more outstanding talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills, adding new brilliance to the university's work in attracting international students to China and contributing more to this cause.
