Relying on its strengths in the field of AI, BIT has collaborated with leading companies in the smart education sector to create the full-process course teaching intelligent assistance system.

In a multilingual classroom with this system, when a teacher lectures in Chinese, English subtitles appear simultaneously on the screen. The foreign students wear multilingual system headphones that can also translate the teaching into eight different languages. This large-scale model system has been trained on technical vocabulary to make the teaching process smoother for STEM subjects.

Revolving around teachers and students, this system covers the entire process from pre-class to in-class and post-class.

By utilizing cutting-edge AI technologies such as large-scale models, it provides pre-class assistance in curriculum design and personalized knowledge point recommendations for students. During class, the system enables online digital teaching by virtual teachers and offline real-time multilingual translation. After class, it aids teachers in precise evaluation and planning personalized learning path for students.

This system has been selected as a typical case in the application scenarios of "artificial intelligence + higher education" by the Ministry of Education.

Meanwhile, in conjunction with 10 leading domestic artificial intelligence enterprises, BIT has been approved to establish the first group of national artificial intelligence industry-education integration innovation platform, comprehensively empowering the smart transformation of education.

In terms of talent cultivation, the platform provides students with rich practical opportunities and cutting-edge industry knowledge; in discipline construction, it promotes interdisciplinary integration to drive the development of artificial intelligence disciplines; and in scientific and technological research areas, it focuses on tackling industry challenges and accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
