The Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) recently held the "Exhibition of Low-altitude Traffic Planning Course Works" to showcase the talent training achievements of undergraduate classes in the Financial Technology (Low-altitude Economic Direction) major.

The focus of this exhibition -- the Financial Technology (Low-altitude Economic Direction) major -- is one of the first group of undergraduate majors in the low-altitude economy curriculum in China. It is also a characteristic project of the deep collaboration between BIT and the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE). By integrating BIT´s pioneering technologies with the advantages of the financial technology of CUFE, this project has created a new paradigm for composite cultivation of "financial technology + low-altitude economy" professionals.

With regard to building innovative courses, cultivating diverse faculty, establishing practical platforms, expanding university-enterprise cooperation and deepening the integration of industry and education, BIT has boldly explored a deep integration path of "education chain - talent chain - industry chain" for education.

The curriculum integrates core content of financial technology and low-altitude economy, including Low-altitude Traffic Planning, Low-altitude Economics, Low-altitude Airspace Governance, Financial Technology, Big Data and Finance, and Principles of Artificial Intelligence and Financial Application. These courses emphasize both systematicity and practicality.

In addition, BIT has built a "low-altitude economy + financial technology" think tank platform, bringing together university lecturers, industry experts, financial practitioners, and publishing industry professionals to participate in curriculum system design, project guidance and teaching discussions. Industry experts also regularly give lectures on low-altitude economy, focusing on topics such as aviation regulations, traffic supervision and financial big data.

BIT has also signed cooperation agreements with Bank of Beijing, Flightwin Innovation and Goldstate Securities, and established university student internship practice bases. The cooperative enterprises cover the two key areas of financial technology and low-altitude manufacturing, deeply integrating into the entire process of student training. These enterprises not only provide internships, but also participate in course co-construction, project incubation and other activities to build a real career development channel for students.

The systematic talent supply chain that integrates education, scientific research and industry in the field of "low-altitude economy + financial technology" at BIT will further serve the overall development of the national low-altitude economy.
