A delegation from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) visited the University of Hong Kong (HKU) on April 24 to discuss the elite innovative talent integrated training program for bachelor's and master's degrees in the engineering schools of both universities.
Under this program, students who complete their undergraduate studies and obtain a bachelor's degree at BIT can be recommended to pursue a master's degree in engineering at HKU.
During the visit, both sides also reached a consensus on further promoting collaboration in teacher-student exchanges, joint talent development, and exploration of cutting-edge technologies.
HKU is the oldest comprehensive research university in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and has consistently ranked as one of the top universities in Asia for many years. The deepening collaboration between BIT and HKU in key areas such as talent development and scientific research will inject new vitality into the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and global society as a whole.
