Professor Sergey Nikitov, an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and director of the Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, visited Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) for academic exchanges and cooperation discussions from June 11 to 14.
During the visit, Nikitov engaged in in-depth discussions with several research groups at BIT on cutting-edge topics such as the design, preparation, and control of advanced quantum functional materials.
He also delivered an academic lecture titled Antiferromagnetic Spintronics and Magnonics at the School of Physics, BIT, focusing on the latest advancements in related research fields, and had in-depth exchanges with faculty leaders and students of the school.
This marked Nikitov's first visit to BIT. During the visit, both sides engaged in extensive discussions on collaboration in integrating research resources, mutual visits of faculty and students, and joint training of high-level talents, aiming to use this opportunity to jointly build a technologically influential benchmark platform for international cooperation. Details about related cooperation will be further solidified and implemented during the international symposium scheduled for July.
