Jiang Lan, president of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) recently led a team to Shenzhen and Zhuhai to explore the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Their research focused on enhancing collaboration between the university and local regions, promoting Sino-foreign cooperative education, and advancing the construction of the BIT Zhuhai campus.

During the trip, Jiang visited Shenzhen MSU-BIT University to learn about relevant work reports.

At the event, Jiang praised Shenzhen MSU-BIT University on its achievements and offered suggestions for further development. He promised BIT will continue supporting the university's development, and further improve the tripartite educational collaboration mechanism.

In addition, Jiang Lan attended the symposium on the construction of academic domains at the Zhuhai campus and learned about the development of the BIT Affiliated Experimental School (Zhuhai).

Jiang fully acknowledged the phased achievements in the construction and development of the BIT Affiliated Experimental School (Zhuhai). He emphasized that the construction of academic domains should adhere to the principle of "focusing to achieve breakthroughs and integrating to promote advancement". He added, the goal is to cultivate a national influential leading growth pole and to establish a development pattern that is structurally sound, smoothly coordinated, distinctive, and highly efficient.

Whilst in Zhuhai, Jiang also met with local leaders, and they agreed to jointly improve relevant policies for scientific and technological innovation talent, mobilize resources from various sectors, expand areas of cooperation, and work together to achieve higher-level collaboration and mutual benefits.
