On Aug 23, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) welcomed the undergraduates of the class of 2025 at both its Liangxiang campus in Beijing and Zhuhai campus in Guangdong province.

Zhang Jun, secretary of the CPC BIT Committee, BIT’s President Jiang Lan, and other university leaders visited the registration site to welcome the new students and engage in friendly conversations with them.

At the registration site, the newly introduced student digital assistant "Beixiaoli" made a dazzling debut, interacting with the new students. It conducted intelligent Q&A sessions as part of the orientation activities. "Beixiaoli" is available 24/7 on the "iBIT platform to provide companionship and support to the students.

To ensure a smooth enrollment process, BIT has established a "green channel" for the 28th consecutive year. This initiative provides one-stop services for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, fulfilling the solemn promise that "no student will be denied education due to financial difficulties". A range of targeted financial aid services are offered to maximize the accommodation of students' individual needs, ensuring that every student can begin his or her university life with peace of mind and comfort.
