Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) has recently wrapped up its 2025 international summer program, offering a "localized internationalization" learning experience for students.

Running from June 30 to August 22, the program featured 48 English-taught courses led by 50 instructors from 19 countries and regions.

Course topics included cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology, new energy technologies, advanced functional materials, urban space design, and international law.

Professors from world-class universities, including the National University of Singapore, the University of Sydney, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, delivered lectures, providing an international academic feast for over 1,100 undergraduate and graduate students at BIT.

The international summer program, open to all BIT students, has been held for three consecutive years. This year's event featured practical teaching, with a curriculum that balanced professional knowledge and industry frontiers, integrating diverse perspectives to provide students with a broad interdisciplinary exploration platform.

The hosting of the summer program is not only a beneficial exploration of internationalized education models but also a solid step forward in enhancing students' comprehensive qualities and empowering the cultivation of top-notch innovative talent.
