On Sept 13, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT)'s Zhongguancun Campus was alive with vibrant flags and enthusiastic crowds as the BIT running club launched the "Run 85 Laps for BIT's 85th Anniversary" event. This celebration also marked the grand commencement of the "Alumni Yan'an Roots-Seeking Journey and Flag Relay at BIT".

The event celebrated the return of the university flag to its alma mater after traveling through Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong provinces and Tianjin municipality. Five flags, each representing a significant chapter in BIT's history, were prominently displayed.

As the flagbearers ran across the field in the morning light, these flags, embodying BIT's rich red heritage, shone together, symbolizing the successful completion of this 85-year spiritual journey.

This event not only honored the historical legacy of BIT but also reinforced the enduring spirit and unity of its community, bringing together the past and the present in a vibrant celebration of its achievements and future endeavors.
