As the autumn paints Beijing in gold, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) is set to celebrate its 85th anniversary with a series of events this Saturday.

Themed "United for the Future, Striving for Excellence", the celebration will highlight the university's achievements in high-quality development and showcase heartfelt messages from alumni expressing their deep affection for their alma mater.

This grand event will unite distinguished guests from various sectors, along with faculty, students, and alumni, to reminisce about past achievements and envision a promising future.

The High-Quality Development Conference and Global Alumni Assembly for the 85th Anniversary of the Founding of Beijing Institute of Technology will be hosted at the Liangxiang Campus in Beijing on September 27. Nearly 10,000 alumni will return to their alma mater to walk the paths of their youth and rekindle old friendships.

In conjunction with the main event, BIT will also open 22 cultural projects across the university, including the BIT history museum, and art gallery and Wenbo center. These projects will showcase the rich cultural heritage and distinctive characteristics of the university.

Meanwhile, a series of alumni donation events will be launched to harness the power of the BIT alumni and jointly promote its high-quality development. This initiative will serve as a bridge to deepen emotional connections and interactions with the alumni through their generous contributions.
