During the event, Liu Dong, the former director of the Jingju Theatre Company of Beijing, delivered an insightful presentation in a lively format combining explanation, demonstration, performance, and interaction. He covered topics such as the evolution and formation of Peking Opera's performance system, its aesthetic pursuits, origins and development, its relationship with national and international culture, cultural confidence, and the integration of Peking Opera into contemporary life.

Young actors, including Tan Xiaoyu, Li Xiaopei, and Suo Mingfang, took the stage to showcase the language and movements of Peking Opera roles, performing classic excerpts from operas such as "Legend of the Red Lantern", "The Case of Chen Shimei", "In extremely good fortune", and "The Drunken Concubine".
