The 2025 Awarding Ceremony of Outstanding International Students and "Study in BIT" 2026 New Year Celebration were held at the Liangxiang Campus of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) on Dec 19.

The ceremony first honored the award-winning teachers, including those recognized as "Outstanding Leaders in International Student Recruitment", "Outstanding Mentors for International Students", and "Outstanding Academic Administrators for International Students". Their significant contributions to frontline international student education, recruitment promotion, teaching guidance, and academic services were fully acknowledged.

Subsequently, awards were presented to students recognized for the "Outstanding International Student", "Admission Promotion Ambassador", "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award", and "Sports Star Performer Award". These awards encouraged students who have achieved excellent results and outstanding performance in academics, innovation competitions, cultural and sports activities, admissions services, and volunteer activities.

Doctoral student Khan Sheher Yar from Pakistan and undergraduate student Yoselia Clarissa from Indonesia spoke on behalf of the awardees. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the high-quality academic resources and comprehensive support provided by the university, shared their experiences and achievements in research and professional competitions, and committed to continuing their studies and research with enthusiasm, aiming to advance steadily with both professional competence and an international perspective.
