The 2026 graduation ceremony and degree conferral of the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) were held simultaneously across its Zhongguancun and Liangxiang campuses in Beijing, and Zhuhai campus in Guangdong province on June 17.

In his address titled "Harnessing Patience in a Fast-Paced Intelligent Era", BIT President Jiang Lan urged graduates to embrace slow and thoughtful approaches: to think deeply, accumulate knowledge steadily, and remain steadfast in their principles.

Representatives of the graduates delivered speeches at the ceremony, expressing their gratitude to the university and pledging their commitment to applying their knowledge in real-world challenges, aiming to contribute to social development.

As a farewell gesture, graduates exchanged mementos with the university, symbolizing their enduring connection. Zhang Jun, secretary of the CPC BIT Committee, also presented gifts to the graduates.
