Six faculty members of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) traveled in two groups to Australia and the United Kingdom between July and August for academic exchanges.
The visits were expected to broaden their international perspectives and draw on the experience of world-class universities in talent cultivation and teaching innovation, with a focus on AI-empowered teaching innovation.

From July 27 to August 7, BIT faculty participated in the AI-Empowered Teaching Innovation and Development Program held at the University of Adelaide in Australia. The program focused on innovation in English-medium instruction supported by artificial intelligence. Through seminars, teaching case exchanges and practice demonstrations, participants discussed topics including AI-assisted classroom interaction, opening up new ideas for the development of English-taught courses and for teaching innovation.

From August 2 to 9, a seminar on the residential college system and the cultivation of top innovative talent was held at Girton College, University of Cambridge in the UK. Two BIT faculty members attended. Through panel discussions, group sessions and site visits, participants exchanged views on how residential colleges are run, offering reference points for improving the university's residential college education and for deepening the cultivation of top innovative talents.
