With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, and in the situation of social ethical anomie problems such as personal privacy disclosure and big data killing are becoming increasingly prominent, China's corporate social responsibility management is facing new challenges. In order to clarify the interaction mechanism between corporate social responsibility, idiosyncratic risk and artificial intelligence, and further provide decision-making suggestions and management support for Chinese enterprises to deal with business ethics issues more effectively, Professor Li Guo and doctoral student Li Na of Beijing University of Technology carried out relevant empirical research by collecting data from 1614 Chinese listed companies. This study first incorporated artificial intelligence innovation into the consideration of social responsibility management, and found the U-shaped relationship between corporate social responsibility performance and corporate idiosyncratic risk in the Chinese context for the first time. The research points out that enterprises carrying out artificial intelligence innovation can inhibit the positive effect of corporate social responsibility on idiosyncratic risk, while enterprises improving operation efficiency can weaken the negative effect of social responsibility on idiosyncratic risk. In addition, it was revealed in the study that there is an alternative relationship between artificial intelligence innovation and social responsibility in reducing the idiosyncratic risk, that is, enterprises with high AI have reduced the same risk and need to fulfill more social responsibilities. Therefore, enterprises should focus on developing artificial intelligence innovation or fulfilling social responsibility. Specifically, in the early stage of enterprise development, priority should be given to improving social responsibility and accelerating the reduction of idiosyncratic risk; In the later stage, enterprises can break through the bottleneck of the positive role of social responsibility by improving the innovation level of artificial intelligence, which will further reduce the idiosyncratic risk of enterprises. At present, China is in a new historical period of starting a new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way. The research results will provide guidance for our government and enterprises to develop frontier fields such as artificial intelligence, strengthen the innovative application of key digital technologies, promote green development, further implement the new development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, and provide scientific decision-making suggestions and solid management support for achieving higher quality, more efficient, more equitable, more sustainable and safer development.
