With the new semester coming, BIT presents an opening, bursting with new vigor.

On August 19th, 3994 new undergraduate students of 2023 grade registered to the school, and opened the splendid university journey. On the day of registering, Zhang Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee of BIT, Long Teng, President of BIT and other school leaders, went to the site to talk with the 2023 undergraduate freshmen, visited the student dormitories, and gave condolences to the volunteers and staff, sending the school's sincere care and concern.

On August 25th, after the four-day military theory class, the 2023 undergraduates officially started their military physical training. In their prime, with a resounding stride, and the rows of upright and tough figures of them became the most beautiful scenery on the campus.

In addition, students of other grades have also started their learning in the new semester. They are discussing and exchanging ideas in classrooms, reading books in libraries, studying in laboratories, practicing in enterprises, and doing physical exercises in playgrounds. ...... They are devoting themselves to the study life of the new semester with full spirit and vigorous attitude, and setting off to the new goals.

Since the beginning of the school year, the university has been functioning in full speeed in an orderly manner. The teachers started their preparation of teaching and front line of scientific research; service and security personnel stand firm at their positions for the quiet and busy campus, providing protection.

The opening brightens up the new situation. Teachers and students of BIT will live up to the times, welcome the new semester with a new look, a new atmosphere and a new state, and create new achievements in the new journey of building a world-class university with Chinese characteristics.
