On October 26, the 24th China International Education Annual Conference and Exhibition opened in Beijing. At the parallel forum "'Changes and New Situations' - Opportunities and Challenges of Studying in China for Education under the New Situation", the China Education Association for International Exchange announced the results of the higher education quality certification (re-certification) for international students in China in 2023. Beijing Institute of Technology received an eight-year accreditation and became the first university in China to be rated A+. Liu Limin, former vice minister of the Ministry of Education and president of the China Education Association for International Exchange, issued the "Educational Service Certification Certificate" to representatives of colleges and universities that have obtained eight-year certification. Jiang Lan, member of the Standing Committee of the BIT Labor Party Committee and Vice President, received the certificate on behalf of BIT.

At the seminar, Jiang Lan was invited to give a keynote speech titled "Ten Years of Exploration and Practice of 'Studying at BIT'". He comprehensively summarized and reviewed the ten-year development history of "Study at BIT", and systematically introduced BIT's achievements and highlights under the international school management model from multiple perspectives such as education, management, service and international talent cultivation for international students in China. He said that BIT's education for international students in China has made great progress in the past ten years, and participating in the certification work has played an important role in promoting the work of studying in China. BIT takes the two certifications as an opportunity to accelerate the opening up of high-level education to the outside world, build a first-class international school-running structure, and inject strong impetus into the connotative development of BIT's high-quality construction of a world-class university. In the future, BIT will focus on the "BEGIN-Qihang" excellent international students training program in China, strive to create a first-class international education highland, spare no efforts to cultivate first-class international talents, and contribute BIT's strength to building a world-important education center with strong influence.
