BIT team achieves a breakthrough in nickel-based superconductivity research
Professor Yang Fan's team from the School of Physics at BIT, in collaboration with other researchers, has recently proposed an innovative theoretical approach to achieve high-temperature superconductivity at liquid nitrogen temperatures under ambient pressure.

BIT holds 2026 Chinese New Year celebration event for international students
To welcome the Year of the Horse in 2026 and enrich the cultural experience of international students in China, BIT hosted a vibrant Chinese New Year celebration on Feb 6 at its Zhongguancun and Liangxiang campuses in Beijing.

Undergraduate
Qualification: 1.High school graduate or above who is qualified to apply for university; non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passport and in good health; observe Chinese laws and regulations of Beijing Institute of Technology. 2.Aged between 18 and 25; Applicants under 18 should provide certificate of guardian who has Beijing residency. 3.Applicants must comply with the regulations (JW (2020) No. 12) issued by Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China.

Postgraduate
1. Non-Chinese citizens; 2. Should be friendly to china, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and BIT rules and regulations; 3. In good physical and mental health, and in good academic and behavioral standing; 4.Interested in Chinese language education and related work; 5. Aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2025; The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45; 6. Enrollment starts in September 2025. This category provides a scholarship for 2 academic years. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 5), and a minimum score of 60 in HSKK Test (Intermediate Level). Applicant who is able to provide the employment agreement or certification upon completion of study from designated working institutions is preferred.

Exchange & Study Abroad
Exchange students to BIT can study in the regular degree programs conducted in English or Chinese. They are also welcomed to study in our Chinese language program. The exchange program extends from one semester to two semesters in the academic program or Chinese language program.
