BIT team publishes meter-scale single crystal manufacturing research in Nature
A research team from the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) has achieved additive manufacturing of meter-scale titanium alloy single crystals, a first for industrially produced metal single crystals, according to a study published in Nature on Oct 21.

BIT team publishes review on tailoring laser orbital angular momentum
A research team led by Professor Fu Shiyao and Professor Gao Chunqing from the School of Optics and Photonics at the BIT has recently published an invited review in Photonics Insights at the invitation of the journal's editor-in-chief.

Undergraduate
Qualification: 1.High school graduate or above who is qualified to apply for university; non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passport and in good health; observe Chinese laws and regulations of Beijing Institute of Technology. 2.Aged between 18 and 25; Applicants under 18 should provide certificate of guardian who has Beijing residency. 3.Applicants must comply with the regulations (JW (2020) No. 12) issued by Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China.

Aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2025; The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45; 6. Enrollment starts in September 2025. This category provides a scholarship for 2 academic years. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 5), and a minimum score of 60 in HSKK Test (Intermediate Level). Applicant who is able to provide the employment agreement or certification upon completion of study from designated working institutions is preferred.

Exchange & Study Abroad
Exchange students to BIT can study in the regular degree programs conducted in English or Chinese. They are also welcomed to study in our Chinese language program. The exchange program extends from one semester to two semesters in the academic program or Chinese language program.
