In 2019, Wang went to Hubao village in Fangshan county, Shanxi Province, for public service. He found that rising energy costs were a significant financial burden on the villagers due to their high expenses on heating.
After returning to school, under the guidance of professors Cui Wei and Li Dongwei, he designed a temperature compensation circuit, optimized intelligent heat storage technology and created an intelligent light-tracking system.
He developed a new type of solar intelligent cloud control system, which increased heat collection efficiency by 40 percent and reduced energy consumption by 20 percent. This resulted in a low-cost, stable solar heating solution for rural areas. He has applied for two patents and three software copyrights.

In 2021, Wang established his company, naming it "45 Degrees," representing the comfortable temperature for hot water baths.
Since then, his company has installed water purification and heating equipment in 107 villages in Siziwang Banner, in the city of Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, saving 70 percent on anti-freeze costs and ensuring safe drinking water for thousands of herdsmen.
In addition, in Fuman village in Changyang District of Beijing, his company installed new solar heating equipment for the local orchid industry park, helping the park save 36,000 kWh of electricity annually and significantly reduce heating costs.
In 2023, leveraging his extensive entrepreneurial experience, Wang led his team to win a gold medal at the national finals of the 13th "Challenge Cup" China College Student Entrepreneurship Competition.
