Jiang Lan, president of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), met with representatives of the Class of 2024 on Sept 13, where he learned about their adaptation to the campus life at the university.

From aspiring to apply to BIT after the college entrance examination to their feelings and experiences upon entering university, the students from various BIT schools shared their insights during the discussion.

Jiang highlighted BIT’s social responsibility ethos and talked about the significance of university life. He presented the book One Two Three... Infinity to the student representatives, hoping that they would appreciate the aesthetic beauty of scientific philosophy through reading, cultivate a spirit of inquiry and explore their own potential during their study at BIT.
