Beijing Institute of Technology hosts a new year celebration event.

The 2024 Awarding Ceremony of Outstanding International Students and 2025 Study in BIT New Year Celebration event was held at Liangxiang Campus, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) on Dec 20, 2024.

During the event, the international students at BIT delivered a rich variety of performances, such as Chinese folk dances, a traditional Chinese martial arts performance and group singing.

Gao Shan, director of the Office of International Students in BIT, reported on the progress of the international students admission situation. Gao stated that in 2024, the scale and quality of international students in BIT had both increased, ranking at the forefront among national universities. BIT's international students have achieved excellent results in various competitions, fully showcasing the university's achievements in international innovative talent cultivation. In the future, "Studying in BIT" will continue to take new steps forward.

In addition, the annual "Teacher of the Year", distinguished international students, and teachers and students who won awards in national and provincial-level competitions were awarded during the event.
