The award of the Association of MBAs accreditation to the School of Management at Beijing Institute of Technology
The School of Management at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) has recently been re-accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for the longest five-year accreditation period.
In early December 2024, the international accreditation expert team from AMBA conducted an on-site review for re-accreditation of the School of Management. The expert team listened to a report by the Dean of the School of Management, Tang Baojun, on the overall situation and latest developments of the school. They also engaged in in-depth discussions with the school regarding its talent development, scientific research, faculty development, and professional education. The expert team also learned the school's future vision and goals, professional degree program development, student training, faculty team, international cooperation, alumni relations, industry-academic partnerships, social responsibility, and sustainable development.
Since its initial accreditation by AMBA in 2011, the school has undergone multiple re-accreditations. This latest five-year re-accreditation indicates that the School of Management at BIT has been internationally recognized for its quality management in education, scientific research, international cooperation, and social contributions.
In recent years, the School of Management has made significant progress in discipline development, program construction, talent cultivation, faculty team, and scientific research. It has successfully passed the three major international accreditations and re-accreditations of AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB, becoming one of the globally less than 1% of management schools to hold all three accreditations simultaneously.
The school will continue to benchmark against top international management schools, continuously enhance education quality, cultivate business leaders with a global perspective and innovative capabilities, and foster more high-quality management talents for the country and global economic and social development.
