Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) held the launch ceremony for the 2026 "Study in BIT" Ambassador Program at its Liangxiang campus in Beijing on Dec 30, 2025.
The event saw the participation of 52 teams and individuals from 13 countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Morocco, who officially assumed the role of "ambassadors". They will embark on a cross-national promotional journey for the 2026-2027 academic year.
During the ceremony, Shen Jiapei from the BIT Office of International Students delivered a speech and presented certificates to the new ambassadors.
Shen reflected on the development of the "Study in BIT" Ambassador Program, noting that since its inception in 2018, the program has successfully run for six editions, with over one hundred ambassadors promoting the "Study in BIT" brand globally.
Shen emphasized that the ambassadors serve as both "BIT's representatives" and "cultural envoys". She encouraged them to use the cutting-edge knowledge gained in classrooms, the diverse experiences from campus life, and the innovative projects in laboratories as promotional materials, sharing real stories to showcase BIT's academic prowess and cultural warmth to prospective international students.
The 2026 "Study in BIT" Ambassador Program will continue to leverage the strengths of current international students and alumni, innovate promotional strategies, and expand outreach channels. Looking ahead, the university aims to adopt a more open and diverse perspective, collaborating with recruitment ambassadors to invite talented international students to join the BIT community and contribute to the vibrant narrative of cross-cultural exchange.
