In December 2025, 12 young students from the United States participated in an immersive "Study in China" program hosted by the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).
This program, leveraging the collaborative strengths of BIT's Beijing and Zhuhai campuses, established a dual-track curriculum system, enabling participating students to gain firsthand insight into China's cutting-edge technological innovation and rich historical culture.

During their stay in Beijing, the study group participated in specialized lectures and laboratory visits, as well as on-site educational tours of cultural heritage sites such as the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. These activities enabled the students to have a comprehensive understanding of China's educational and technological advancements, while offering a deep experience of Chinese heritage and innovation.

At the Zhuhai campus, the university emphasized themes of artificial intelligence and industrial innovation, leveraging its role as a science and education integration platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The participants visited representative enterprises and innovation platforms in Zhuhai, Shenzhen, and Foshan in Guangdong province to experience firsthand the industry transformation and regional collaborative development driven by AI technology.
The "Study in China" program is a high-quality study course certified by the Chinese Service Caner for Scholarly Exchange, opening to outstanding young individuals worldwide. In the future, BIT plans to continue integrating high-quality resources and enhancing course design to create a model and influential international youth exchange program, enabling more international youth to learn a real, multifaceted, and developing China through immersive experiences.
