The 2026 Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) International Winter Program recently concluded at Beijing and Zhuhai campuses.
Leveraging the unique advantages of BIT's two campuses, this year, BIT crafted a matrix of nine distinctive programs covering cutting-edge technology, cultural immersion, and international leadership development, establishing a diverse, high-quality platform for international educational exchange and innovative practice.
BIT's Beijing campus focused on "cultural deepening and cross-cultural co-creation", creating an immersive cultural experience system. By integrating systematic Chinese language teaching with various intangible cultural heritage activities, international students gained a deep understanding of Chinese society and traditional culture, establishing a solid bridge for cultural exchange between young scholars from China and abroad.
Meanwhile, the Zhuhai campus in Zhuhai, South China's Guangdong province leveraged its position in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, concentrating on "frontier innovation and bay area practice". Programs in artificial intelligence and low-altitude economy kept pace with global technological trends, employing a model of "academic lectures, laboratory practice, and project discussions" to immerse students in AI applications, robotics development, and other industry frontiers, and solidifying their technical foundations. Global leadership projects, through case studies and team collaboration tasks, enhanced students' management and communication skills in an international context, providing a comprehensive understanding of the area's development and deepening their awareness of studying in China.

Through high-quality program matrices, comprehensive layout planning, and deep international cooperation, BIT not only offered an excellent learning and exchange experience for global students but also reinforced the foundation of its international education.
This year, the program attracted over 600 students from 32 countries across five continents, a significant increase in both participant numbers and geographic diversity compared to 2025.
Moving forward, BIT plans to further optimize the content of its international winter programs, and deepen its collaborations with global universities, research institutions, and enterprises, continuously enhancing its level of international education.
