The 2502 Excellence Class of the School of Future Technologies held a moral education seminar at the Liangxiang Campus of the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) on July 2.

BIT President Jiang Lan, the class's academic advisor and moral education mentor, attended the event.

Drawing from his own experiences and the students' presentations, Jiang engaged in a dialogue with the students about the mission of cultivating outstanding talent and expressed his earnest expectations. He encouraged all students to delve into foundational and frontier areas, hone their exceptional skills, and nurture a spirit of love and resilience, infusing their passion into creation, contribution, and life.

In addition, Hu Jie, a faculty representative from the Institute of Laser Micro-Nano Manufacturing of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Vehicles, delivered an inspiring class, using stories of cutting-edge technology to convey the spirit of serving the nation and motivated students to reach new heights in scientific research.
